Hamlet Act IV questions

3.) What does Hamlet mean when he calls Rosencrantz a "sponge"?
He calls him a sponge because he always does what King Claudius asks him to do. He obeys the king no matter what and has no thoughts of his own. Hamlet also says that like a sponge once Claudius is done with with him that he'll get rid of him.

18.) What scheme is planned by Claudius and Laertes?
Laertes wants vengence on behalf of his father, Polonius so him and
King Claudius plan to kill Prince Hamlet with a poisoned foil.

2. Claudius asks Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to go find Hamlet in effort of finding where he hid Polonius' body. Claudius asks them to bring him Hamlet.

6. Claudius arranges, by sending a sealed letter, for England to kill Hamlet when he arrives.
